New generation PC software for ELTRA analysers |
Eltra introduces the brand-new high-tech microcontroller together
with the advanced PC-software for comprehensive analyser control
and comfortable operation, providing the users with the following
features:
- intuitive and multilingual interface;
- layouts implementation - adjustable appearance of the
program windows;
- user profiles and multi-level access - unauthorized access
and inexpert parameters change protection;
- sample ID memory and supplemental running analysis number;
- data base analyses results storage - all data for every
analysis are stored and can be recalled later for review,
report creation, statistical calculations or results recalculation
with modified parameters;
- data base filter implementation - display only of the
results meeting the specified condition, for example, certain
date/time period, specific sample ID, etc.;
- visualisation of the results consistence;
- peak separation calculation procedure for fractional analysis;
- LIMS communication and data export (Notepad, Excel etc.);
- basic one-point and advanced multi-point calibration;
- barometric pressure compensation;
- simultaneous calibration of more then one measuring ranges;
- procedure for automatic linearity correction calculation;
- applications memory and deficiency check - adjustable
counters of analyses for in-time reagents replacement, filter
cleaning, maintenance, etc.;
- hardware diagnostics display and technical report printout;

Please, note: to
run this software, the Microsoft .Net Framework must
be installed on your computer. Microsoft .Net Framework
is included in the operating system starting from Microsoft
Windows XP Service Pack 2. It will be prompted for installation
or installed automatically if you will perform windows
update for Windows XP or you can download it using
the following links:

Installation notes: If you do not have Microsoft .Net
Framework installed on your PC, download all three files
- SetupUni.exe, dotnetfx.exe, NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe,
otherwise only SetupUni.exe is necessary.
To install Microsoft .Net Framework and afterwards the
SP1 for Microsoft .Net Framework launch the files dotnetfx.exe
and NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe correspondingly and follow
the instructions on the screen.
To install the Uni software launch the Setupuni.exe
and follow the instructions on the screen as well.
Please,
note: to run Uni-software, version 2.0.0
and higher, the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 must be
installed on your computer. It is recommended to perform
windows
update and to choose Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
for installation during update. Optionally, you can
download and run the set-up programm of Microsoft .Net
Framework 2.0:

Upgrade |
Older model Eltra
analysers, running as a stand-alone unit or under PLOTCS/ON
software, can be upgraded for the operation with Uni
software. The upgrade kit can be requested from Eltra.
It consists of new microcontroller, 2 adapters, 2 cables
and 2 covers for the analyser's cabinet. No mechanical
or electrical modifications of the analyser are required.
The upgrade is made by installing the new microcontroller
on the place of old one and connecting it to the analyser's
internal cables via adapters. The balance and analyser
are connected to the PC with new cables. The holes in
the analyser's cabinet are closed with covers.
Please, note
the requirements to the PC and that
the linearisation and calibration will have to be done,
after upgrading the analyser. The standard samples are
required for linearisation and calibration.
